A Bold Proposal for Hifive Creative
Hifive is an award-winning creative and advertising agency that proudly describes itself as a “team of creative misfits and deranged lead generators.” Their work is loud, fearless, and built to perform—so when it came time to present themselves in a proposal, the document needed to embody that same unapologetic energy.
This wasn’t just about packaging information. It was about translating the spirit of the agency into a format that could sell the work before the first conversation even happened.
The Challenge
Hifive needed a proposal that could break through the monotony of traditional RFP responses and fully communicate their bold, unconventional creative capabilities.
Like many modern agencies, much of Hifive’s strongest work lives in motion—high-energy video campaigns, social content, and multimedia storytelling. The challenge was finding a way to showcase video-first work inside a static PDF format without losing the immediacy, excitement, or context that makes the work effective.
The proposal had to accomplish three things at once; stand apart from the sea of generic agency proposals, showcase video and multimedia work in an intuitive way, and reflect Hifive’s rebellious, high-impact brand personality.
The Approach
I applied Hifive’s bold brand to every corner of this RFP. Even client testimonials where given this attention with saturated color blocks and oversized text. For video, I utilized layouts that feel native to video UI, as you would see on video-first platform. Each video has a clear “play” button that links to Hifive’s YouTube page. The same solution was applied to mulit-media Case Studies. Screenshots of social feeds and comment sections were laid out as pop-ups to add dimension and interest to the page.
The Result
This design nailed Hifive’s vision. This proposal allowed them to accurately and confidently present the best version of their agency to the client.
